We care about the health and well-being of the children at RCCDP. Our policies encourage healthy eating habits and teach the importance of good nutrition and daily exercise. We provide nutritious meals as part of a comprehensive approach to each child’s development. We also encourage healthy nutrition by incorporating cooking activities into our curriculum.
Our food program is operated in accordance with guidelines set by the USDA Child and Adult Day Care Food Program. We receive reimbursements for maintaining high standards through this program.
The daily meals provided by RCCDP consist of breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. The RCCDP staff prepares breakfast and afternoon snack. Lunch is prepared and delivered by School Foodies of Alameda Ca.
Menus for the month are posted in each classroom.
